Puppies:
I added site for Z litter. Females Zase, Znova and male Zest are already in new families. Male Zino is reserved and waiting for his flight. Available are two beautifull grey boys: Zephyr and Zack. They are microchipped, completely vaccinated, several times dewormed, have checked eyes and have pet-passport. Both boys looks very promising for shows and have good drive for work also. New photos here.

Also puppies from A litter are older now. Age 6 weeks, they are playing almost whole day.. All boys have descend testicles, next week we are planning checking fo eyes. We have still one Tervueren female available. New pictures from the age of 5 weeks and 6 weeks, video from 5 weeks (next is processing)

Puppies sired by our Daring-Devil and from Ch.Daffy Novterpod are growing well too and it seems there will be also few Tervuerens in the litter. More on breeder's website.

Puppies:
Again  new photos  of puppies from Z litter. Still three boys are available! They are very promising for shows, sport and breeding.

Puppies:
Many beautifull pictures of our puppies from Z litter, age  7 weeks. And they are even better in real! They have also excellent character.  Both girls are in the new families, some males due to rogue buyers are available, include wonderfull Zest, whose name express our feelings from him :-)

We also added new pictures of puppies from Gina, age 10 days and 14 days and also  video  of little vampires. We have some Tervs available in this litter. They will be ready to new homes start of January 2011.

Puppies:
New photos of puppies from Z litter, age 5 weeks and  6 weeks. We are very happy with the quality of puppies, they have beautifull type, lot of coat, are very compact with cute expression, dark eyes and small ears... and they are little devils :-)) Still some grey males available!

We went to Metz with the intention to fulfill the next step to the title of Champion de France for our Dýbo. We suceeded and now Dýbo has CAC from N.E., CAC from Specialty (we have two, but needed another judge) and TAN Championaat and so he needs only 1x CAC from whatever International show.  We also got last CACIB we need for title of FCI InterChampion CIB.  Saphir went with us to show to french exhibitors and he did brave, even if travelled without owner, he presented himself as a star and won working class.

Puppies:

Puppies:
Puppies from Unique and Uphen born Wednesday, 29.09.2010. We have four males (all grey!) and two females (one grey, one fauve). Some males are available for reservation yet. We expect beautifull exterier and characters. First photo here

Gina is pregnant. She was checked by ultrasound and all is going well. We expect her pupps start of November.

Yesterday and today, our Daring-Devil had female - he mated Ch.Daffy Novterpod. Puppies will be bred under kennel KWANAH.

Again being late with update :-(  Too many busy days I had!

Choran:
When I got information, that Choran is with reseller, I was trying to find new home for him, priority in our country, because I knew he is good dog with excellent character, excellent health of whole litter and with big part of new blood for our country.  Even after weeks of advertising, I could not find anybody, so I promised Choran to Finland. In Finland, they perhaps look more on true quality of the dog, then  on ability to "speak the hole into the head" of buyer, like at our country :-(( 
I brought Choran home, for preparing him for trip to Finland.... and I feel more and more I do not want to give him nowhere!  He is not only nice dog (even if for the moment out of coat), he went fantastic through all health tests (hips, elbows, spondylosis, eyes) and his character is simply what most of people only dream about!  Absolutely easygoing, tolerant dog with natural authority. He loves all the kind of people from first second, he has not any problem with new strange environments or surfaces, he is well with other animals, include other males (untill they attack him, then he show his authority). He has not any reaction for noises, he is fast learner, loves children. Although he was absolutely "raw" and did not understood nor to "sit down" and we learn everything from the zero, it's a dog who catch my heart. And not just my :-)
After three days in Heroltice, where Choran tried again many more "first time" he convince me again, that I do not want to let him go so far.
He did character test absolutely great, with sure, for maximum of points (include shooting, aport, etc). After the test he did little bit of training defence, again with helper he never saw before. And it was his just 4th defence in life. In sum, I think lot of people regretted they did not believe me. When I say the dog is god in character, I am not embellishing like it is common in our country, but I am serious about it.  Well their pity, today is already decided - Choran will stay with us!  And because he went so fantastic through all the health tests, character test, confirmation and show, he is already stud dog now!


Puppies:
Uniq is doing very well. Second ultrasound was OK and we count last days till the whelping of puppies.
Gina was mated. More information here. Very interesting combination for people interesting in sport and work.
Three available boys (include 2 Tervuerens) are still in kennel z Chotyně, sired by our succesfull and well working dog Daring-Devil and mum is beautifull and wellrounded Dixi.

I am sorry for being late with update this site, but this month was really hectic. I spend few days in Sweden, judging their Club show (thanks to Swedish club for invitation!), then about week in Slovakia and five days in France.

20.-22.08.2010 Nationale d'Elevage St.Denis de l'Hotel, Francie
As every year since 1999 I was going to biggest event for Belgians here in Europe - Nationale d'Elevage in France. This year I took only Daring-Devil and Unai.
Daring-Devil did really great - won working class, finally also CAC, Best Malinois from working classes and Best BSD from working classes too!  We were very happy and proud for our boy.
Unai did worse. Even if all judges up till now love her classic head, the present judge had another opinion and so we got only Very Good.  Unai did also CSAU Exc. and TAN Simple.
Unbelievable did also CSAU.
After 1300 km (from Šárka's home even 250 km more) we are very tired, but sure, next year we will come again!

Puppies:
Unique is pregnant! We expect fauve and sable puppies end of September.

Háček, Huck, Heavenly Vision z Kovárny was put to sleep due cancer on July, 19, 2010. We will never forget Your smile!!






Puppies:
Unique was mated. We had to change plans in last days due to holidays of owner of Saturne, but we choose male with similar qualities, like is classic head, strong bones, combining power with elegancy - s.r. Uphen-Back de la Foret d'Olifan. Unique was mated on July, 25+26th, 2010.  We expect puppies of fauve and also sable colour

Choran:
We brought Choran home, to live temporary with us.  Choran is male, which we advertise. His owner did not want to care about him any more. Choran is fantastic! Ever since of first second he do everything to stay here forever. He is absolutely wonderfull, easygoing, loves all people, want to work very much, tolerates changes admirably (as if any were)... Just few hours after his arrival I took him to meet helper - his first defence lesson. For a while he view like "a goose in the bottle", but then something awakened in him and ... he finished with nice biting to the sleeve!!  Unfortunately my idea to keep him in CZ (for future using of czech breeders) seems to be impossible, sometime I do not understand to czech peoples...

All puppies from  Y litter are already in the new homes. We wish them all the best!
Our s.r. s. Ch.Daring-Devil became father!  Yesterday, 5 boys and 3 girls born at kennel Chotyně. Proud mum is Int.Ch.Dixi z Chotyně.

s.Venus Innah z Kovárny - elbows 0/0, Spondylosis 0. Someone could be surprised, but I allways feel this is important information. First Venus' s owner did not make her x-ray for elbows, even if she promised to do it. Second owner took so bad care about her, that after I bought her, we cannot nor think about narcosis. This year was again full of events... and so we found time only now. I am happy, that Venus, 6 years old, has her elbows and vertebra  "like from magazine" and she tolerated anesthesia well.

We had very busy season at the end of June, so I was delayed with update website. The more news we have now!

Puppies are spread to new homes, only Bady (Yabadabadoo!) still waiting for departure to his new family. We are happy with all owners and we hope, puppies will live wonderful life there!

Club and Specialty show
26. + 27.06.2010 Club and specialty show Mladá Boleslav - the biggest event for BSD in our country!
judges: M.F.Berton-Sarlat, France (Sat. Gr+Mal, Sun.Terv.), P.Gaffey, UK (Sat. Terv., Sun. babies, puppies, juniors and veterans), and Emanuelle Borriero, Italy (Sat  babies, puppies, juniors and veterans, Sun. Gr.+Mal)
At two-days exhibition, we had great success, for which thanks belong to owners of our puppies, for their care, activity and handling and also the judges, for their proffesional judging. Thank You!

On both days, we won The Best Breeder's Group - in heavy fighting with competitors we sent Tervuerens group content Lexus, Legend, Ulkaine, Unai and Perfectly, Sunday without Lexus.  Saturday I had also entered Groenendael group, which placed 3rd from 5 groups. On both days, the competition for the Best Brood Bitch won our Innah Adina with her offsprings Valentino, Venus and Igneous.

On Sunday, some of our offsprings participated in Selection. The conditions are czech character test for at least 80% of points, hips  HD A, current clear eyes checking (not older then 12 months), done confirmation and Excellent from Club or Specialty show.  The comitee was composed from two foreign judges (those, who judged variety in the show rings) and one member of Breeding comission. At least 2 members of comitee must say "Yes" to get Selection.

Puppies
Puppies makes me sooo busy, that I have not much time for update of this site, so please be patient. They are sooo temperamently and playfull with high prey-drive and I want to give them as much time as I can, so other things must wait :-) Puppies are already vaccinated, microchipped, have checked eyes for hereditary eyes diseases and three of them are already in new home. Next will follow soonly. All new owners seems to be nice people and so we hope they will enjoy the life with puppy and puppy will enjoy the life with them :-)

Puppies
Puppies are 6 weeks old. They looks like real dogs now :-)  I can say, that intention of this combination seems to be meet. Whole litter is well rounded in exterier and also in character, all puppies have nice short bodies, black eyes, small ears, nice expression, long heads (but still with stop), deep mahoganny colour, big mask and nice coat. I am very pleased with character of puppies, all have great interest about surroundings, like peoples, like to play with toys and drag with tug, they have nice prey-drive and they are not reacting for strange and loud noises. They also like to eat so much, what is bonus for future training.
I added photos from 5, 5-and-half and 6 weeks and video from almost 6 weeks of age.
I care about health, our dogs have not only compulsory, but also optional health atests, I try to avoid too riskable breedings (even if it is shorter way to get show stars), I account also character, so I try to do such litters, where puppies match standard of breed not only in exterier part, but also character and health.

Puppies
Puppies are 4 weeks old. They are well developed for the age, moveable, playful. They love peoples very much, eating well (BARF diet), are barking and biting all around :-)  Boys have already descend testicles, or at least very well palpable. All puppies have scissor bite.  They seems to be really very promising for shows (nice typey head, dark eyes, short body construction)as well as for work. New photos and also video from 4 wks of age.

FMBB World Championship...
held this year in Cottbus, Germany. Competitions runs from Thursday 20th May till Sunday 23rd May and competitors came from whole world. The event was accompanied by two shows - Saturday it was Specialty show of DKBS and Sunday FMBB World show

Puppies
Puppies are three weeks old. All have 3 times more weight, comparing to day of birth. Although they did not ask for food, I need to teach them to eat from bowl. I am leaving for few days to Germany and my husband will care about them, so I want to have it as easy as is possible. Puppies decided themself to eat only BARF diet and not pet-food :-)

Puppies
Puppies are two weeks old today. All of them already doubled birth weight and some are nearly 3 times bigger. They start to open the eyes (hope they will not be shocked from what they will see :-) and they start to use the legs. Some of them got dog-collars (we do not have enough of them, so other will follow in few days). Puppies have early socialization - many of our friends already visited them, our other dogs are taking care about them (especially our oldest Havanese, who just freakin' on puppies) and we start with necessary training of sleeping in bed :-)))  Venus is great mother, calm, careful, thoughful and easygoing with all the visitors and our other dogs.

Int.Ch.Zealous Juvell z Kovárny  had new "wife". The breeder of kennel  z Wiedzminskiej Stajni was very satisfied with his previous litter, so she decided to use him again, this time with female Harley Davidson Super Glide z Wiedzminskiej Stajni. Mating took place on 09.+11.05.2010

New photos of our puppies from one week of age. Puppies are growing well and are more and more red!  Still some males available. Puppies will be suitable for shows, but also for sport and work, both parents have excellent friendly and wellrounded character with high drive and work willigness. Sire of the litter is working in IPO and he has very nice defence part.

Puppies
We have puppies! Today early morning Venus gave birth to 5 males and 3 females, all of deep red colour,  viable and sooooo hungry .  Mother and puppies are doing well, first photos here.  Since Venus and Saphir made wrong plan about the ratio of sex in the litter,  two males will be probably available for reservation.

New puppies are also planned at other kennels: Lutin z Kovárny mated Polish female JCh.Waleri Terviland on 10.04.2010, his brother Ch.Lasco z Kovárny mated female Voltera di Colfosco (puppies expected soonly) and Pasmina-T di Casa Bellegarde (mated on 11.04.). In the kennel ZJBonda are expected groenendael puppies out of  Ch.Orchidea Black z Kovárny and Ch.Baitu Balpoa (mated on 17.04.2010). We were very sadly, that Santus left us - who knows him understand us. But he is still in our co-ownership and  is living with our long-term friend Nikol at Slovakia.

Venus was checked by ultrasound and found pregnant. Puppies are expected end of April.

Past weekend, we travelled to France. The trip was very long, but travel with same "crazy" people makes it nice and comfortable. We entered Belgian Specialty and we expect to see something and to be seen too... but thanks to Devi our dreams become true!!

s.r.Ch.Arisies Balpoa, female of our friends won Champion class of Groenendael females. Congratulation!

Back home we brought one more dog... maybe five, maybe more years I am looking for new non-relative addition for our breeding and even if I am checking whole world, I did not suceed. At winter, I found interesting combination. Father is dog I know well and like his exterier, same as excellent working character. Mother is coming from not much used paternal blood and mother from super working kennel "du Musher". So... after  considering of  "plus" and "minus", eight years since my last (and unsuccesfull) import - but still stressed from it, I decided to take a puppy!  Nora Takáčová from kennel Starý Machnáč cooperate with me and Elyos will live with her. Thank to great goodwill of Christine Labrocherie and Veronique Monet we were able to pick up Elyos at Bourg-en-Bresse and after other 12 hours in car he walked Monday into Czech ground. Learnt our czech language and sleep in the bed   and today he continued with Nora to his permanent home at Slovakia.

Puppies
Puppies are 9,5 weeks old. Xaxána and Xpert went to new homes. Xuvell is still available! Xuvell is big male with good bones, very nice long head, black eyes, small ears. He has deep colour, middle amount of charbonage, full mask. Xuvell is playfull, temperamently puppy, rather dominant to other pupps with extreme strong prey-drive.
We got new photos from owners of our X-puppies - Xaxána, Xixaoo and Xante.  Also one news video of little clever Xaxána.

Sunday, judged by breed specialist, was better for us (the pity, Gina - Igneous was totally out of coat), but even if no, we can be proud, that all dogs bred or owned by us presented themselfs as friendly and happy individuals, what is not possible to say about lot of other dogs. Big pity for the breed, that judge from Saturday did not take into account the fact, that some dogs had to be pulled into ring on own belly :-((

Puppies are 8 weeks old, added three new galleries from 7 weeks of age and one funny video  Puppies are doing great, daily playing both in snow and in our flat. They are little wild monsters, with high temperament and great interest about everything.  All Tervuerens have big black mask and deep colours. All pupps have black eyes, small ears and short bodies. We are still looking for an new owners for two red boys.
Tuesday, Xante and Xixaoo went to new homes. We are looking for see them often!

Puppies
Puppies are 6,5 weeks old. I added three new galleries from 5,  5,5 and 6 weeks of age. Puppies are happy to play in snow now!  They are able to be outside at very low temperature also and they love our small walks behind our property.  They are going to play inside daily too. Three of them has already erected ears. All looks very promising at exterier and character too. Two red boys are available!

Added results of TOP-TEN of 2009 year. Our Belgians did again very well!!  s.r.Ch.Daring-Devil became The most succesfull young BSD of 2009 year, while JCh.Saphir Zealous z Kovárny was second and also The best young Tervueren. At Veteran category won at own varieties and sexes s.r.Ch.Jackie Black z Kovárny, s.Ch.Heavenly Vision z Kovárny and Ch.Eleanor z Kovárny. Many many others got beautifull placements, same like at our stud dogs and brood bitches. We won title of The best Tervueren kennel of 2009 year, 2nd best Groenendael kennel of 2009 year and The best kennel through varieties 2009!

Puppies
Puppies  are 5 weeks old - added new photos from 4,5 weeks and today. They are living at outside room, but going daily to our kitchen to play.  All puppies have scissor bite and all males have fully descend testicles from 30th day of age!!  Yellow girl has both ears erected already, same as Groenendael male. They looks very promising, quadratic puppies with long heads and excellent expression. All Tervuerens have super mask.

Zicora Nica z Kovárny was neutered today. Cora got inflamation of the uterus - pyometra and treatment did not work well, so she had to be operated today.

Puppies
New photos of puppies from 4th week of age. Puppies mooved to bigger room (8m2) with bedding of wood shavings and split straw.  They have also big outside strenghtened and grassy paddock, but due to weather here (up to 50cm of snow), they still were not there.

Rawinsky Black z Kovárny, groenendael bred by us, mated on 22.12.2009 female named Grimoire Darkbreaks Arwen. Puppies will born at kennel Grimoire in Finland.

Puppies are doing really great ! They just turned three weeks of age, are growing well, developed really well for their age - running on all four, discovering our flat and doing wild games!  They are already eating from the bowl too. No worries about New Year´s fireworks - they are already used for lot of noises. New photos here.
