Puppies:
Our working litter G are now in new homes. Giro lives with Míša Otáhalová in CZ and we are co-owners, Gangster stayed with Zuzka Pčolárová at Slovakia and Gitan went to Switzerland, with his new owner Myriam Wolf. We will add page of G litter soon.

The puppies from Zidane and Eclaire are growing so fast! They looks wonderfull and we are very pleased with them.  All are spoken for, we are looking for an co-owner for Terv boy (photo in the right).

Gina was mated start of December in Belgium, by beautifull and charming Hero and we hope to see little puppies on ultrasound checking end of December. More on Current puppies page. Lili (Really) start her heat sooner then we expected. The mating is suspected to be on Christmas holiday, so we decided to use czech dog now instead to go to abroad. Also dogs from our kennel and our other dogs have puppy news :-)  Three boys and five girls born November, 13rd, in french breeder de la Valée des Sortiléges, out of Haida Black z Kovárny and Mistral-Creole van Lana's Hof.  One boy and one girl sired by Once More Black z Kovárny born December 7th under affix Černý květ.  His sister s.Ch.Orchidea Black z Kovárny expect Christmas puppies under affix z JBonda.  Belgian breeder di Terra Meiga repeated mating  between Int.Ch.Brat Black z Kovárny and Guinevere Black z Kovárny and got seven boys and one girl. Our  s.Int.Ch.Gwyneth Black z Kovárny was mated December 14th to 16th by Int.Ch.Digit Stříbrný rybník, it is repeate mating and puppies will born under affix of Gwyneth's coowner Stříbrný rybník. Our Ch.Elyos du Moulin du Verger mated Kaisa Vitris Bohemia (terv out of malinois) on December 13rd, puppies will born in breeder Mr.Veselý.  Elyos became sire again, when November 30th, Czech Novterpod gave birth to three boys and one girl - for more info see Novterpod breeder. And finally our Xantus Zealous z Kovárny got his first "wite" as a Christmas present :-) December 19th to 21st he mated nice Ch.Grimmendans Esmée of Jocke Rydell from Sweden - Kiosan's.

Puppies:
Eclaire whelped little puppies. They are strong, nice and almost without white markings. We have 2 black boys, 2 black girls and 1 red boy. All are reserved.

We are planning next litters. I choosed Hero v.Balderlo from Belgium for Igneous and so now we only wait for her heat. I would like to have first mating of almost 4 years old Unai and 4,5 years old Really, but I have not guess on male yet :-(

Best of Black z Kovárny mated Tess de la Terre Sauvage on October, 27th. If all will goes well, puppies will born in hungarian kennel  de la Terre Sauvage.  s. Se. Sw. T.s. Int.Ch.Saphir Zealousovi z Kovárny became sire again, 1 boy and 1 girl bon in Germany, dam is  Eowyn v.Saargold and puppies are bred under affix Ke'chara's.

Puppies:
Brixi gave birth to her first litter - Saturday, September 29th, three boys born. Girl, which we dream about, born one day later, unfortunately dead. All three boys and mother are doing well. All puppies are reserved.

Mimino (Eclaire) is pregnant. We saw 7 puppies on the ultrasound, so we hope to have nice big litter.

Our Elyos had another "wife". September, 29th + 30th he mated Czech Novterpod (which is Tervueren born out of Malinoises). Puppies will born under affix Novterpod.  Also Once More Black did mating - October 2nd and 5th was used with Abbe Pet Černý Květ. Puppies will born under affix Černý květ.

It was an "examination marathon" in the Stará Paka and some of the handlers did as much as 7 exams (during the 10 days). Most of the dogs meet with Obedience first time so from this point of view they were very succesfull, because rating at Obedience is very different from NZŘ, KJ ČR or IPO. Xantus participated without his owner, handled by Marie (thank You!) and totally fell in love into Perfectly which was in the heat. The last exams were not ideal - dogs and handlers tired and Perfectly in her best days :-) Cora lost 20 pts for wrong indication of lost objects (she retrieved them, as she is used from Obedience), without this error she might have 95 pts from her beloved discipline of retrieving everything she think You lost :D 
Congratulation to all handlers and hope You will continue with training (not only on the training camp but  during the year)

Se Ch.Milan Black z Kovárny became sire again - July, 16th, 3 boys and 4 girls born out of him in the Vuorituulin affix in Finland.

Puppies:
We have last nice Groenendael bitch for sale from litter F. Both parents have many show and working successes and excellent health (both have complete denture, scissor bite, HD A, ED 0/0, SA 0, eyes OK). The puppy has name Fara (like her grandmother) and she has very nice bones, lot of coat, sweet expression and friendly and open character. A little bit of white on toes and chest. The most recent pictures here, video from her first swimming here.

She is ready to new home, she is microchipped, has pet-passport, FCI pedigree. She is vaccinated, several times dewormed, has checked eyes (OK) and has done DNA profile and verifying of parentage.  Equipment for first days in new home and written contract is commonplace.  More information and photos here (she is the one with white collar)

Littermates Free Black Calypso, Fanatic Black and Flying Black Girl left us to live in new families too.

I am again late with updating my website, so I have looooot of news today.  If You want to follow our news, You can check my  Facebook profile. Except of time, which took my puppies, I was busy with judging too. I had the honor to judge several important shows - in May FMBB World show and Italian specialty, later in May German specialty (new club BSD) and in June Specialty in Australia. It was a bit tedious travelling, but it was worth it!  Thank to all organizators for the invitation, it was an honor for me to judge such shows.

Puppies:
We have last nice Groenendael bitch for sale from litter F. Both parents have many show and working successes and excellent health (both have complete denture, scissor bite, HD A, ED 0/0, SA 0, eyes OK). The puppy has name Fara (like her grandmother) and she has very nice bones, lot of coat, sweet expression and friendly and open character. A little bit of white on toes and chest. Our Elyos became sire again. 7th June, Ch.Benka Almur Royal whelped his puppies under the affix Růžová záhrada. Also Daring-Devil became sire again, 5th June, Ch.Isabella de Alphaville Bohemia whelped puppies under the affix z Ostrova Baber. It is repeate litter.  Opacity of Black z Kovárny whelped puppies at Slovenia - sire is our Effect of Black.  Int.Ch.Zealous Juvell z Kovárny, IPO3 had mating with s.Mima Deabei. Puppies will be bred under affix Gingerfox.

Sad news:
Unfortunately we have again sad news :-(( 
Ch.Imp Illico z Kovárny alias Ritek followed his sister to a dog's heaven. He died quietly in sleep, 20th June.
The much more unexpected was death of Nadine and Urbi. Urbi died 16th June, at the end of surgery, which was done because of extremly strong and quick pyometra. She did well during the surgery, but she was to weak to wake up :-(  Nadine died 23rd June under the wheels of the car.  We are very sorry and sympathize with the owners.

We are very happy, that repeated tests of eyes (which are much more risky - because usually defects are found with higher age) are excellent.

Show results:
... and we have lot of them, lot of successes and lot of finished titles.  But the very special for me are results from Czech and Slovakia club show and results of two girls - Black Bamity, which without any show training and without presence of the owners shined on three shows, with three wins of CAJC and BOJ (BOB Junior) and two BOB, she finished title of Junior Champion as quickly as possible. And results of Zase, which was totally misunderstood and unloved by previous owner, who finally sold her out with saying she is "shit". At her new home with Martina, she found love, peace, friendship, gained some kilos and new coat... and plunged boldly into the show rings.  Bamity & Zase, You are lovely clever girls and we love You!

Club show and specialty was - as usually - several times larger then "normal" czech shows and judges - as usually - gave also lot of worse qualifications. The more I am happy about our results!  I was not again there (judged in Australia), so my thanks belong to my dear friends, who managed to show all the dogs for me :-)
In the competition of breeder's groups, our Tervuerens got 2nd place both days.
Sunday, there were also Selection. Not many dogs got it and so we are extremly happy, that four dogs out of my kennel suceed : s.JCh. Alaia Black z Kovárny, s.Ch. Vaori Waikiki Black z Kovárny, s.Ch. Sadly news:
On the end of 2012 we found several little tumours at our Milunka (P.E.Int.Ch.Innah Adina z Kovárny). I knew it is not good, but did not thought the end will come so soon. The cancer was extremly aggressive and numbers of tumours were growing so extra quick, that ended up to destroying of skin. The skin could not stand extreme pressure and burst. The wound was opened and the necrosis started. Treatment did not help and it was very painful and I had to make the most difficult decision... let Milunka go.  She was my heart's dog, she was excellent show dog and super brood bitch, but mostly she was my best friend, ambassador of Belgian shepherds between the general public, nice and easygoing dog and... plus no one will do such a great "seal", no one will wake up me by the nose in the night, asking me to make the place in my bed for her, prodded my husband in the stomach after dinner with a sly expression, and even handing out smiles for command. Miloušku, I love You and it was very short!

Sadly news came from Sweden too. Agility Ch and JumpCh., participant of World Championship of BSD, Face of Vision z Kovárny had to put sleep because of damage of his back.

Gwyneth gave birth to 2 boys and 5 girls, Sunday May 13rd. Unfortunately due to stupid accident, one girl died :-( Other are doing very well. More information here

Daring-Devil became father again. On April, 30th, 6 boys and 3 girls born in Polish kennel  Polaris. Proud mother is tervueren Ch.Vilma Mare Polaris. Also New Black Beauty z Kovárny became mother. She gave birth to 1 boy and 4 girls, sired by Hurricane v.Schaagerwaard in german kennel v. Schloss Bourbon.  Taira Black z Kovárny gave birth to only one boy, born May 17th, sired by s.Int.Ch.Ayrok Balopa (kennel z Halikarnassu). Opacity of Black z Kovárny is expecting puppies very soonly in Slovenia, sired by our s.Ch.Effect of Black z Kovárny.
Se Ch.Milan Black z Kovárny had another mating in finnish kennel Tempranillo - female Tempranillo's Black Hot Mamma and became sire again, when 3 boys and 3 girls (incl.1+1 Terv.) born sired by him in kennel Flisdaelen, dam is Flisdaelen's Gayora.  s.Ch.Noddy Black z Kovárny became sire of 2 groen.boys, 1 terv.boy and 1 terv.girl in Austrian's kennel Nicima's. Dam is participant of BSD World Championship Danou v.d.Simmeringer Haide.

Puppies:
Espero Ero went to his new home in Danemark and I am very happy, they enjoy him as much as I do.  Endless Energy and Enough Crazy are both reserved. So last boy is available - Especial Fool. He has very deep colour with little bit more pronounced charbonage. He is very sweet, happy and curious boy. Teeth, bite and testicles OK. He is vaccinated, several times dewormed, microchipped, has Pet passport. His eyes were checked by eyes specialists and are free of hereditary diseases (also his littermates are free of them) and he has done DNA profile with verified parentage.  More about this litter under Current puppies page.

Good news :-) Gwyneth is pregnant with Shayo (Once More Black) and we expect black puppies mid of May. More at Planned puppies page.

Last time I forgot to announce birth of Groenendael litter in the kennel Callistopeia, sired by Groenendael s.Int.Ch.Kaj Donum Cordis (IPO1, Ob3, A3, son of Ch.Rakija Black z Kovárny) and dam is Tervueren bitch out of our breeding s.Int.Ch.Ulkaine Unique z Kovárny.  Also Ch.Mystic Black z Kovárny had another mating - 1st of April, 4 boys and 5 girls born in swiss kennel  vom Lacheren, proud parents are Mystic and Easy v.Lacheren.  Mystic also mated again  Fariba du Clos du Bois Sauvage puppies will born in the kennel of Mystic's owner -  v.Lambertshügel.

Ricco (Eager Enricco z Kovárny) and Joy (Enjoy Energy z Kovárny) went to the new homes. Ero (Espero Ero) will go tomorrow. I hope we can meet them on some shows or working events.  Beautifull girl Crazy and two nice boys Gio and Fool are still available. Gio reminds me lot from his grandsire Vision!  Puppies are 4 times dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, have pet-passport, FCI export pedigree and are checked by specialist for Hereditary eyes disease (all clear) and have taken DNA samples for DNA profile & confirm parentage.  More about puppies and many new photos here.

New owners:
Two dogs out of our breeding changed owners. Zara (Zase z Kovárny), because her previous owner had unreal expectation and I think, he should not have any more dogs; and Rejs (Race of Sun z Kovárny), because his owner became very serious ill.
Zara mooved with great help of our friend Martina Linhartová (the situation with formerly owner was not finally easy), and she is so sweet, that Martina decided to keep her. Zara is living now together with her brother Zest, groenendael Šajfun and little silky terrier Terezka.
Rejs mooved today to his new family, will be living as family pet with woman, who already owned belgians before.

I am neglecting update again :-(  March is very difficult month in my job so I do not have so many free time as I want to have. And of course, dogs and puppies are priority then. The harddisk in my computer also said goodbye, so I lost some datas.

Puppies:
Puppies from Venus are growing quickly and actually they are not babies, but little dragons :-))  They have been microchipped and also DNA samples were taken for DNA profile & confirmation of origin. In few days they will be vaccinated and their eyes will be checked by specialist and then they will be ready to new homes. I added many photos and we are preparing a little video also. All information should be find at Puppies page.

Gwyneth finally start her heat (2 months later). Gwyna se konečně se zpožděním rozhárala. And she did it not so simple, because her heat had atypical growing of progesteron, which makes we could not leave to the planned sire in Netherland and finally mated Gwyneth in our country. s.Ch.Noddy Black z Kovárny, bred by us, mated female from Austria - Danou v.d.Simmeringer Haide (participant of FMBB World Championship) on 21.02.2012. Danou is pregnant and puppies will born in Nicima's kennel.  Noddy's sister New Black Beauty z Kovárny will have her first litter. She was mated on 15.03.2012 by Hurricane v.d.Schagerwaard and puppies will born in kennel v. Schloss Bourbon.  Taira Black z Kovárny was mated on 14.03.2012 by s.Int.Ch.Ayrok Balpoa and puppies will born in kennel z Halikarnassu. Also Opacity of Black z Kovárny was mated by our s.Ch.Effect of Black z Kovárny on 20th March. Puppies will born in Slovenia. And finally, yesterday, 23.03.2012, Janette z Wiedzminskiej Stajni gave birth to 3 boys and 3 girls in the kennel z Wiedzminskiej Stajni. Proud sire is our Ch.Elyos du Moulin du Verger.

We have really difficult start of the year, many bad news :-(
 

As a first come diagnosis at Milunka (Innah) - cancer of mammary glands. Few days after, our Majčo (Vision) got severe cerebral stroke, which affected very strong his moving skills. Because he was not even able to drink or eat, we decided to give him last favor.  8st of January, Majčo breathed his last. He was 14 years, 2 months and 1 day old. Majčo has been allways my fatal dog and it is difficult to put into words what one feels now...

Bad news, unfortunately, relate also to the human friends. 6th of January, Ing.Radomír Kotras (owner of Jyll Black z Kovárny) died too soon, age only 52 years. Sincere condolences to his family!

Puppies:
We do not have any puppies at the moment. But Venus is going to be bigger and bigger and we expect puppies in less then two weeks. We are also taking reservation for other planned litters in 2012 year.
There are still beautifull Malinois boys for sale in kennel Starý Machnáč and beautifull Tervueren boys in kennel Tyntom (see right box or Puppies from other breeders).
New mating and puppies out of dog bred by us: In the kennel  du Moulin des Uranides, 6 puppies born out of Int.Ch.Brat Black z Kovárny and  Celtic du Moulin des Uranides. Also Se Ch.Milan Black z Kovárny became sire again - 4 boys and 2 girls born in the kennel  Grimoire as well as in the kennel Breakpoint.   Int.Ch.Lasco z Kovárny, IPO1 sired 8 puppies with Solana-T. s. T.s. Se Sw Int.Ch.Saphir Zealous z Kovárny became sire again; in the kennel Těchlovice 9 puppies born out of him and Ch.Dixi Těchlovice. Finally last news is mating between Tervueren female s.Ch.Ulkaine Unique z Kovárny and nice Groenendael male from Poland - s.Int.Ch.Kaj Donum Cordis, IPO1, Agility 3, Obedience 3. Puppies will born in the kennel Callistopeia.
Also our  JCh.Elyos du Moulin du Verger had a rendezvous with polish female Jeanette z Wiedzminskiej Stajni (daughter of Int.Ch.Zealous z Kovárny - IPO3). Puppies will born in kennel z Wiedzminskiej Stajni

Finally we got DNA verification of parentage of our dogs: Daring-Devil du Crépuscule des Loups, Elyos du Moulin du Verger, Future Fame z Kovárny, Venus Innah z Kovárny and Yamaha Venus z Kovárny.
All these dogs have parents with DNA profil and so it was verified, that they are true descendants of said parents :-)  We will (of course), continue with our other dogs, as cooperation of other breeders and owners and money will allow us.
